REFLECTION

Exploration: Throughout this class, I have learnt to approach my work as a step-by-step guide so that I am less likely to miss anything. I've also gotten into more of a rhythm with using Illustrator which allows for me to move from the sketching stage quicker as the sketches don't have to be perfectly the same. Learning typography is a tedious process but rewarding once the final outcome is complete. Though nothing is ever truly complete as improvements can always be made but deadlines must.

Observations: I've observed that referencing is a good practice and that I should do it more often. Referencing and then learning from it is one of the advice that has helped me greatly. I've also learnt to watch out for tiny details that could trip me up, whether in the design or when working on the e-portfolio.

Findings: I've found that working together with classmates and seeking feedback from them as well is a helpful thing. While we are still learning together, someone on the side can see what we miss from another perspective. I've also found that I prefer to work in class as the environment is more conducive for me to come up with ideas and such.
